Don’t be afraid to bring little accessories that show who you are. A little shell necklace, a ring your grandmother gave you, your partner’s jacket, things like that! Photos last forever, and when you put little things like that in your photos it can be a reminder of a period of your life. I love that so much.
Throughout this session, it felt like we were constantly breaking down walls. We’d get her into a pose and the nerves would build up and then we’d talk it out and keep going! I loved that.
“You are worthy to feel good right now and it's normal to feel a bit uncomfortable with the idea. It's something new! But it feels sooooo good once you see your pics!!”
People are so incredible. I just get so excited to hear people’s stories and get to know clients even just a tiny bit. Kirsten has done so many incredible things with her life, moving from a small town in Nova Scotia and coming to the city to pursue her goals. I was so impressed hearing her story, and it just made me really reflect on how freaking cool it is that I get to take photos of people and document these moments in people’s lives.

“UGH. Ok. I very much love my photoss. I thought I should mention though that I’m comfortable with you sharing the pics I ordered, even the non-anonymous ones :) they are great and if it encourages others to book or helps you at all, I’m here for it.”

Bridal boudoir. It’s so special. I did this session for one of my 2019 brides and drove all the way out to Moncton for it!
