Avery | Halifax Boudoir Photography + An outfit tip!
Choosing an outfit for a boudoir shoot is… daunting.
This boudoir session really shows off how great a simple outfit can be to compliment you without taking the attention away from you. Avery chose to wear this super simple, basic bodysuit but in a gorgeous pop of red! I think a lot of times, because of how much variety of lingerie there is to choose from, choosing what to wear for a boudoir shoot can be both SO much fun, but also so stressful.
Well’ I’m here to tell ya that the simplest thing can be so perfect. A good couple rules of thumb are:
1) Choose something form-fitting. Loose things like babydolls aren’t typically the most flattering for a boudoir shoot, just because of how the light comes through. I super recommend bodysuits, and lace/sheer materials!
2) Bring something you’re comfortable with AND something that feels a little daring. You might thank yourself later!!
